Default BAMF meets the Stingray =)

Out playing at the Lingenfelter open house this past weekend, Makes the C6 styling look dated! Does anyone have the specs on how much wider/longer the Stingray is compared to the Current Wide bodies? Tires/Wheels looked a lot bigger than the ZR. Beautiful car

Hate to disappoint you but the C7 is only .8" longer than your ZR1, and is .4" lower, but it is 2" narrower than your ZR1.

As for the huge tires on your C7, your REAR tires are the same width as the FRONT tires on your ZR1 and the rear tires on your C7 are 2" narrower than the rear tires on your ZR1.

I can't help it, the front looks good but the rear is in need of some flares. It looks like a square box from the rear....

As Joe points out what is really important...

He might point out also the z51 hit 1.05g on the skidpad vs 1.06g for the zr1 without the widebody, wide tires and all. Plus we are comparing a z51 to a zr1 here.

One of the cheesiest things I have heard is when Jay Leno had our Head GM design dude ( Ed) in that Jay Leno session with the Torch Red months ago......Ed said..."its like we took the Corvette to the gym and it worked out, its leaner and you see the stretch lines like muscle tone.....WELL? when you look at the C6 alongside of the C7...IT DOES LOOK leaner and better lines

If you had comprehended the OP's post you would have seen she asked about the physical dimensions of the two cars and the size of the tires. If the OP had requested the performance numbers of the two cars I would have also supplied them, but I wasn't trying to go off topic and make personal remarks, as you have.

That C7, in no way, makes the C6 look dated. They are too dissimilar to compare looks-wise. I'd take that ZR1 over the C7 anyday.

As much as I like the C7, as much as I think it's beautiful, there is no way on earth that the car makes the ZR1 look dated from an exterior design perspective. The fact that this keeps getting repeated is just insane to me. I saw a ZR1 parked today and would choose one before a base C7 hands down...I'll repeat that..."hands down" without a 2nd thought.

Again, taking nothing away from the C7, it is the best looking BASE vette in a long time...but these "outdated" remarks are insane.

Base C7 is too narrow for me. Just doesn't have that hunkered down look.
