Premier Edition C7 Coupe

Safety Car
I have been at Hendrick Chevrolet in Cary, NC several times Friday through this past Monday and seen quite a few C7s go out the door. Their Premier Edition was on the floor Friday but by Monday moring they had sold it and shipped it off the floor. The Brownstone interior is flat-out gorgeous.

Laguna Blue, Z51, Brownstone 3lt, special torque chrome wheels,
7spd, Magnetic ride, npp exhaust, dash plaque, luggage package,
carbon fiber roof and dash, made just for dealers, cannot be ordered.
Supposedly making only 500 coupes and 500 verts. Did I miss anything?
(Oh yeh, black hood stripe)

Although the LB is nice, it will probably be the most popular color choice, therefore not for me. I'm thinking that the 3 Z51 wheels are splitting the market pretty evenly, is that right?

Who comes up with a blue car with brown interior? GM has goofballs picking these colors?

Premier
Having seen the color combo in person, I rather like it, the brownstone is rich looking and I think it would go with any of the exterior colors. Black and gray would look great too, but the gray I worry about keeping clean. Not a fan of the Khalahari color interior. Too each his own, but they could certainly keep the luggage package.

I have also seen the Premier Corvette. I really like the Blue and I like the Brownstone. The Brownstone interior is really nice. I am just not sold that those 2 colors go together. I like the chrome wheels also. When we looked at the car right after it came off the truck, there was no luggage in it. The dealer says they supply the luggage.

You know its fine and dandy that GM put together a "collector" edition package for some. However, I still don't understand why they chose to build those instead of the cars that were pre-ordered. My Laguna Blue order has been stuck at 3000 since August 1 (and still is according to my dealer as of yesterday). It has all of the same options that the Premier does except it is an auto. That's why I opted to buy the Torch Red one as soon as I found it here in SoCal. Still waiting on the other tho...

Why the delay? GM sent this car to the dealer with the idea that the dealer would hold an open house for all the 2014 Chevy's, and this special Stingray would be the center piece in the cake.

They've got one where I ordered mine (Lou Sobh in Milton FL)
It is pretty but a little too much luxury for a sports car.
Once I saw it in person I knew I wanted red / not brownstone.
