Looks like they still plan to use the reflective strips just below the tail lights. And also the triangular tail pipe opening.

Those fins should taper more as the near the bottom. A little too chunky.

Isn't that the point, to make it as cartoony as possible?

This piece looks like it will have no aero advantage....just more dead weight IMO....now the diffuser on the Ferrari is a whole other thing of beauty and function.

Very few aftermarket aero parts are actually wind tunnel tested. Katech is one of the few.

HEY--- what happened to the wicked paint job on the Camaro? Looks plain in your garage. In fact, looks like nothing has been done yet?

Wonder what that does to the aero. Of course if it lives only in show booths it doesn't matter.

Aero parts dont need a wind tunnel to be effective just like cars dont need chassis dyno's to be tuned. There are basic principles and fundamentals one can employ to make a reasonable assumption of function. That diffuser is garbage.

The Camaro pictured above is NOT a "wide body". It simply has vented quarter panels, for the illusion of wide body. How do I know? Look left at my avatar.

Also the black one in the garage pic is not a wide body.

And.... They are not the same car.... look at the spoiler (high wing on the custom paint one), wheels and mirrors (custom paint car has aftermarket mirrors which are much slimmer). NOT the same car.

sorry... don't mean to jack the thread.... I'm looking forward to the final pics of the wide body vet.

Look at the rims on the back of that camaro

I don't really care for the 1" lip around flares. I like what Chevy did with the c6z flares.

You have clue what your talking about in regards to the patriotic camaro above , search the net for Freedom Fighter Camaro ZL1 it was the first widebody ZL1 ever done by Topo of TS Designs , documented build on LSXTX.com and numerous other sites and its now over 850 RWHP! Secondly the C7 & Camaro in my other pic above all just 2 of my numerous Bowties that I own!!! I didnt write the C7 was a widebody, I wrote that Topo would be doing the widebody to it after SEMA!! I have seen TOPO's C7 build for SEMA in person and the color choice is perfect and NOT going to be found on any other C7 at the show period!
