Convertible Production
I have a TPW of Nov 11 for a Z51 convertible. It was at a status of 3000 several weeks before the Z51 constraint. Does anyone have any reliable info on the start of customer car convertible production? I assume the constraint will not impact my TPW.

According to a very recent interview with the Plant Manager of Bowling Green, convertible production has begun, starting about a week or 10 days ago. He stated that shipping to dealers should begin in early December, baring any unforeseen issues.

Did the factory tour last Monday at 2:00 which was the first day. They had 3 Lime Rock Green convertibles on the line mixed in with the coupes. I think they are probably test cars but was surprised to see them mixed in with the coupes. Every step of the way on the coupes, tolerances were checked as each panel was installed. It really looked like they were paying attention to quality and they stopped the line a couple of times to fix an issue. Was pretty impressed.

Unfortunately I ordered the triple postponement options of convertible, Z51 and comp seats. My order was accepted by Chevrolet but I don't have a TPW. I placed my order on Oct. 5. Anyone have a clue as to when I'll get my car?
