I was very excited to order and be the first of many to get my hands on the c7.. I work in warren mi and with the GM tech center here I have seen and looked at many c7's.. I have stopped and spoke to many of the engineers and people working on the car.. Yes they all said it was a great car but not perfect.. With the unknowns I decided to wait a few years and just settle for the 13 427..
I have monitored the c7 forum and everyone was excited to get their cars .. Now that owners have gotten their cars and have problems or concerns (which is what these forums are for) there are several people saying that they are not picking or just complaining for minor things..
I don't own a c7 but will one day and I want to here the concerns with these cars... I know the first year is not gonna be flawless but welcome everyone's problems to see how gm handles it and evolves..
So if someone owns a c7 and are making complaints or comments on the quality, stop posting that what they are talking about is bs.. They have a right as they paid for this car ..

It's guys who don't own a C7 but have a LS7 that start threads yammering about the C7 that are getting accused of talking BS. Most of the folks that have them are having a fantastic experience.
If I had a 10 spot for every LS7 owner who has whined about the C7, I'd have had a number of great entertaining nights out already.
BTW, did those engineers tell you the 427 is perfect?
See.. Here are the haters again.. I never said there weren't problems with my car either.. I chose to buy what I did .. But if you go on the other forums people have issues and others give solutions or sympathy..
I'm not complaining about the c7.. Read my post.. But it the guy who is upset with the wheel well material, paint quality, wrong builds from the line, bad rear ends, etc.. There's always someone telling them
That they are full of **** and deal with it..
For some reason people on the c7 forum believe that the c7 is the ultimate car and can't have problems..
All I'm saying is I want to hear the problems and see how they evolve.. Without people bashing the actual owners of these cars ..
Normal 1st year production problems dude, stay calm and carry on.
Yes they have a right to complain, no this is not anything new or abnormal, even for a corvette. You've got to remember this car isn't but a couple grand more than a Ford F150 FX4 or King Ranch. Tend to get carried away because "corvette" name...even though Chevy trucks can cost more than a vette.
