The bottom line is: If you want to order a car the way you want it, you will have a hard time getting much under MSRP at this time. If it's a car somebody else ordered and the Dealer has it sitting on his lot you would get more off at some Dealers. In my neck of the woods they want between $8K and 10K over. There are thousands of non-forum people out there who think all Dealers have the same prices like Home Depot. Lots of others don't seem to care; if they want they buy.

I just ordered mine at $3K off MSRP. From a forum vendor
Back in late summer, a small dealer 35 miles from me got allocations for 2 coupes and 1 convertible. When I inquired, at that time, the price was MSRP + $10,000 and none of the three were pre-sold. They sold their first one(non Z51, black/black.), off the showroom floor, yesterday to a lady in Rolla, MO for MSRP.
Effectively, a $10,000 discount(from their original price). LOL. I guess they discovered the market for a C7 wasn't as crazy as they thought.
