Yup, TR rules! LOL, I have had about 3 alternative-shade red cars . . . I had a 911 in Orient Red, a great color. But every time I saw a 911 in Guards Red (Porsche version of TR) I wanted it. Such a sports car color.
Sometimes it's hard to get TR right in a photo. Think the light was pretty good for this shot.
You guys were right, that Z06 grill looks WAY better than the stock Corvette grill, worth the dough vs. just blacking out the chrome strip which I had intended to do. Glad I listened to you maniacs.
Hey, at least everyone here on this thread got the friggin memo (Prince, c. 1982) and purchased the right color. What are all those other guys thinking anyway?
done a few searches get tons of threads but few with pics. is there any pictures of someone's torch red C7 posted? Can't figure out what to search for to see some.
Maybe it's just me, but with the exception of the rims and and occasional soft top, they all look the same: torch red. Seen one, seen them all.
I'd post a picture of mine, but it looks like all the other photos here.
My C7 is Torch Red, my C6 was Victory Red. Torch Red appears to be lighter and brighter- and a much tougher color. Absolutely gorgeous, better looking than the Victory Red - but far more demanding, it shows minor scratches, swirls, wax residue, etc. far more than the older Victory Red Color.
Higher maintenance but I do love it. The car's appearance is stunning.

I know this post was a couple years old now but if JTS is still on did you do something to these pictures? The colors look like they pop an the lines on the vette are so sharp.
What year is the car?
Did you use a specific camera and camera settings?

This is one amazing automobile. GM really got this car right! I am getting tons of compliments and these C7's are real "head turners".
We are know going for the Torch Red 2018 C7 so we will be joining the club soon. I would like to know where you got the Corvette seat belt pad.
