I may have to break down and get that black under the front air dam thingy and the side skirts. They call that black thing up front what, a 'splitter'? WTF does that even mean? That if a car has that it's going to split really fast? Which forum vendor has a good package price on that stuff. RPI maybe?

A splitter is an aero appliance, often used on race cars and probably not needed for 90% of the driving most owners ever do in a C7. It more cleanly splits the air flow between the part that goes over/through the car and the part that goes under it. That reduces drag and improves performance and handling at high enough speeds, usually on a track.

Honest officer - I was just exercising my splitter.

My second 2015 C7. First one was a shark grey with Kalahari interior. Didn't feel like a corvette so traded it in for a torch red LOADED. Now I have the "WOW" effect I was missing. Definitely feels like a corvette again.

Hello all, picked it up today and immediately put 110 miles in it. I was camp Arctic White until I saw this one. Torch Red for the win! Love it!!

The front splitter and side skirts are the OEM visible carbon fiber stage 2
