At least one person has bought a C7 from our local dealer because they wanted $10,000 above list in Houston.
The dealer here learned years ago that selling even high demand cars above sticker may bring in a little extra money in the short term, but it does not create repeat customers..
They had a 1978 Pace car that sat on the showroom until the tires went flat because they thought they could get above sticker.

just not good sales practices
