Absolutely true and it makes me want one even more! The most frustrating thing is right now they are priced very well. You can bet your azz they will be going up.
Also agree. The price point makes it a no brainer to want a C7... even a non-optioned coupe is the deal of the decade!

You can put that in the bank. As a manufacturer, when you run at near capacity and you know you hit the nail on the head, and your suppliers can barely keep up themselves... prices are going up.
when are you coming to Knoxville, Tn
I also have a lovely wife who likes Vettes

Wished I had known that before I left BG.....
Just let a R8 driver experience the C7. Interesting how all the little things that bother some on here, he had no problem with for the price point. Liked it enough to order one after the drive.....
Hey Tome, sorry this is a bit off topic... But I was wondering how your trip was from BG to Brea? How many hours did you spent driving your C7 back? How many days did you take doing the trip? Curious as I have a C7 in Ohio and debating if I should drive it back or have it shipped...

Thanks!
This was my 6th trip from the museum, so obviously I love it! I have done in in as little as three days, and that wasn't a killer, you just can't spend time dragging your feet at restrooms and eating....LOL Also it didn't require insane speeds to do it. That said, I would allow 4-5 days depending on your traveling partner and how much you want to sightsee on the way home. If you haven't driven across America it's a great experience. Obviously weather will dictate your route. Another benefit of driving it home is the immersion time you get to spend with your new ride. Plenty of time to learn all about it and a perfect way to break it in. And by being careful of how close you follow someone, you won't get stone chips. My first chip on my C7 was on the 57 freeway after 3800 uneventful miles. If you haven't been to the museum, I would highly encourage a stop there on the way back. Hope this helps.
