Gas Funnel
Has anyone found the gas funnel mentioned in owners manual. I haven't located it. should I contact agency ?

Have you checked the center console and the "below cargo floor" drivers-side cubby (places other folks have found theirs)?

It should be in the plastic bag that also contains your owners manual. It is fairly small at about 1.5" diameter and about 8 inches or so long.

Mine was in the trunk in a plastic bag.

There is a slot on the battery cover designed to hold it. Pull up the carpet in the right rear corner of the cargo area.

As I see it I have to remove the right rear wheel cover, raise the carpet and see if there is a funnel there. Not what I expected when i bought the car.

No, just pull up the carpet from the corner.

....it is usually put in the cubby storage on the driver side rear area by the PDI people...

Here's what mine looks like. The indentation in the battery cover is actually formed to hold the towing bolt for EU cars, but the funnel fits in one end nicely.
