In an effort to protect the center console, I installed two Corvette seat belt cushions I found in Amazon. I attached a Velcro strap under the cushions that fits through the lid opening inside to hold it in place. You cut the strap to fit the opening and length.

Also, you might notice that I also use them on my door handles. Greasy or dirty hands could invade your car at any moment!

Ok folks,

I finally installed the new C7 seat covers.

It took a little time to install since the seats are very close to the floor. I had to lift them as high as possible, use a coat hanger to fish the straps to the front, and move the seat back and forth to reach and snap for each seat top strap. You do need to extend the straps before you proceed so that you have enough to reach the front.

The seat top side straps are a little different where you just pull the straps down on the sides.

The seats fit like a tight glove and are very comfortable to sit on. They look much better in person. Pictures do not give them any justice.
