Default Z51 Badging

Is there anything on the new C7 that distinguishes it from the base other than the rims and spoiler, are there z51 badges on the car??

Nope but the larger brake calipers and slotted rotors are a dead giveaway

Not badges/emblems yet but I'm sure the cheesiness is coming.

Won't be long before the major vendors come out with Z51 badges for the C7.

You need anything more than that giant spoiler at the back?

Don't forget genuine GM accessory part no. 19301421 (2014 Corvette Stingray Center Cap, Z51 Logo, Metallic Gray)...
I ordered a set of 4 for mine.

Also comes in chrome (part no. 22782985):

No thanks.

Reminds me of ABS wheel caps for some odd reason.

Look in the C6 forums. Despite it being just an option on the C6 versus a separate model on the C7, guys were demanding badges to distinguish their cars from lowly regular Corvettes. I know some of the vendors have Z51 badges.

BTW - disclaimer, my wife's 06 is a Z51 vert, just never felt the need to advertise.

Did I miss where Z51 is more than just an option code on the C7 and became its own living and breathing model?

You know, the only people who have any appreciation of what Z51 means can spot one without any help from badges.

Technically speaking, GM Considers it a Model. It has it's own model code even thought it's really just a option.

I'm sure there will be at least one person that list all their options on the side of the car.

Z51
2LT
NPP
FAY
NAV

Maybe I'll be the first. Hotness.....

very.... very dumb IMO, I thought advertising HP in the badging is cheesy enough, now people want a badge for an option on a car.
Soon the "performance model" , (not an option on a base car) will be here, and some people will badge their base models.

This is the only downfall about mass produced cars, they all look the same 15 feet away.

Regardless, the C7 is an awesome car, the C7 performance model is going to whoop some tails, and make all the people who badge their cars feel dumb. I say if it doesn't have it from the factory, then it shouldn't be there.
The factory didn't put Z51 badges on it because they acknowledge its just an option on a base car( a hell of a base IMO), something some owners don't want to admit . , but for those select people I say do as you want, it's your car, make some 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, paint codes etc badging while your at it, so you can argue, who has the better seat, radio etc........
