I just got my system in, ordered it online from SAMs Club. The 20 will do about 300 gallons before the cartridges need replacing. Anyone using this system already? http://www.crspotless.com/
I have pretty hard water near me, I wish I would have gotten this a while ago.
I got one about 6 years ago and it works great. I had to change out the resin after about 3 years. That's longer than normal but I didn't wash the car that often since it was only taken out on sunny days.
That's a lot of money especially when you can add a half a cup of white vinegar to your soap bucket that'll do the same thing. I think a large bottle of it costs 1.19 at the local supermarket.

huh?
Vinegar is acidic. It will remove your wax?
OP isn't trying to "remove water spots" he is trying not to get water spots!

!
It's mildly acidic and it never removed any Zaino from my car. Water spots are created by the minerals in the water and the sun drying the water spots before you can dry the car. Just thought I'd let you know that it does work.

I just don't understand why it vinegar would stop spots from appearing? Does the vinegar break down the minerals in the water so they evaporate?
Don't think there is much of that stuff running thru the blower and out thru the end of the hose. The car looks awesome when it's done.
Ther is a filter which prevents dirt and other debris from coming out. I use the leaf blower with a piece of pantyhose tied over the end. I have used a leaf blower for 15 years 12 different Corvette and have never had a problem......
I use a leaf blower also but it doesn't dry the car, just gets a majority of the water off, and from in the crevices, but the car is still wet . With a warm climate here in FL, even in the shade it's hard to keep the car wet the whole time while washing.
