Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. I have been reading this for over 2 years now and finally registered here. I am getting ready to finally pull the trigger on my First Corvette ever. I will be going all out and grabbing a C7 with museum delivery. I have been reading a lot of orange peel hreads and I will be getting the velocity yellow for color which many have said it's a higher chance on having that issue. So to my question, has anyone noticed any orange peel issues at the museum? It tends to see that they go above and beyond at the museum with almost no problems. Which to me seems even more worth it for the raised fee added this year.
Congratulations to everyone who has received their C7 already. Hope to see you all out there soon enough and yes I will save the wave.

Just weird that I have not read anyone complain yet about any orange peel issues at all from a museum delivery but plenty of complaints from normal deliveries. Why would that be? Luck or just really caring what sits on the main floor for everyone to see. Thanks for the response.
Orange peel at the Museum is no different than orange peel at a dealer. Some cars and/or colors come off worse than others. Just the way it is. The Museum's prep may make it look better than a dealer's prep but the Museum doesn't correct paint problems.
The orange peel problem is real, but it is not as bad to the gen public as it is made out by enthusiasts here that are very particular. To many, the paint is fine....l

I guess your right they just give it that extra TLC to make the museum customer very happy with no issues or headaches. Thanks for the response.

Not meaning paint runs, they are inexcusable....
Hmmmm interesting thoughts that probably make sense. I agree with the paint run part just seemed weird that no one has complained about that issue at the museum but lights and excitement can also pre occupy the mind.
