I purchase an '18 on July 3rd, order number VKWJ7Z. 2 weeks after cutoff.
Any idea when Chevrolet will start booking post-shutdown orders?

I was able to check your order, and can confirm it has been submitted by your dealer, but has not yet been officially accepted by GM. While there isn't currently a time frame, please don't hesitate to reach back out for future updates!

Angela,
I hope you can give me some insight into when I might expect to see my new GS. I think it is currently 'Bayed' waiting for transport to Florida but I don't know what the shipping triggers are. My selling dealer is in NH, while my courtesy delivery dealer is in FL. Who's move is it next do you think? And is the status still 4B00? Thanks for any help on my order number VKHMHX.

I just wanted to post because I think this will be somewhat helpful for those of you patiently (yea right!) waiting for your Corvette to come in like I was.

Ordered Car ( Deposit ) : 6/2/2017
Target Production Week : 7/10/2017
Car Built : 7/11/2017
Car Shipped : 7/12/2017
Car Delivered : 7/20/2017

The dealership I ordered through is in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Hopefully this can help you guys with projected / estimated timelines. I know they don't follow a exact science, but hopefully you get piece of mind in knowing a timeline!

I'm going to pick it up TODAY. Thank you all for the add. I'm stoked to be apart of the Corvette Forum.

I ordered my new Grand Sport on Monday7/24, I just want to make sure my order is in the system and on the schedule. Order #VMSV3N.

Also can you tell me if there is a production schedule date ?

I am in the same boat as you. I ordered on 7/3.
From What I have learned, our orders will probably not be accepted until late October, approximately 3 - 4 weeks before production starts, if we are lucky.

Don't really know what you guys should expect, but a friend ordered a 2018 Grand Sport on 7/1, his order has not been officially accepted yet, but the Dealer is telling him to expect a mid-late November production date and mid-late December delivery as the "best case" scenario. Just for reference, my 2018 ZO6 was ordered on 5/20, produced 7/10 and delivered 7/26, if that helps. Good luck.
