Lost in transit?
Vin: 1G1VF2D71E5118O78
TPW: 03/03/2014
According to my Dealer, unit was shipped via truck on 03/11/2014. I checked yesterday with the Dealer and they called today stating that they couldn't get any tracking information on the whereabouts of the transporter.
Can you offer any assistance?
Thank you,
Len

Melting Slicks
Marissa/Kelley: My car was built last Thursday - RPVNH3 - MI, and on Saturday according to the Chevrolet tracking site it said it was at the dealership. Dealer said no it wasn't and now the tracking site says it is "Shipped/En Route" but apparently the status code is 4000. What's up???
Thanks, Martin.
Thanks, Martin.

Thanks for your help, I have canceled my order. Without your help I would still be in limbo waiting for my car to get past the 1100 mark.
Without your help I would have probably not gotten a car. The information I received has prompted me to search for a dealer that has a C7 in stock. I found a CY in stock that has all the important options I waned in the exact color I wanted. I will not be getting the Carbon fiber dash and some other options that were not that important I will be missing out on museum deliver and the buyers factory tour but at least I will be getting a car to drive this summer.
I am sorry if I was impatient at times but I was getting to the point where I had to make a decision (the saying is fish or cut bait).
If other people have been stuck at 1100 the way I have been stuck since last November they may want to consider that they may not be able to get a car before this summer.
The new prices for the 2015 will be announced on the April 25 -26 week end, things may become more complicated when that happens. There are still cars available at pre March 3 price increase but they will not last long.
I know that this is reserved for checking orders that have been placed but I am posting this message mainly to thank Marissa & Kelly for their hard work and help, and to let them know I won't be bothering them until I order my next C7 2 years from now, and lastly I want to share what I learned with others that may be in the same situation I was and advice them to seriously evaluate their options
THANK YOU Marissa & Kelly FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND THE TIME YOU SPENT HELPING US OUT

Hi Marissa,
I am officially asking for your assistance. I talked to Adrian last night. He said Chevy needs to hear from my dealer to move my order to production. He would not explain to me what Chevy needs to know from my dealer. My dealer says they placed the order for my car in December. I went to my dealer following Colby's instructions and my dealer said Chevy could not get parts for the Z51. I talked to someone else who said Chevy could not get certain parts. They both said they had nothing to do with the cars build status after they ordered it. 3 Chevy people have said the same thing, that they can't act without talking to my dealer. Colby is the only person who apologized for parts delays, but even he said my car order was old. All of you have made it clear that my dealer needs to do something. But why won't you tell me so I can tell them? Can I move my order to a dealer you recommend to me? I recently had a stroke and this is making that experience more difficult. Help me? Please. 3/27

I was able to chat with a service rep from the tracking site named Colby.
"Your order is still in the preliminary phases (1100). Our systems show the order was placed last December. I do apologize for the delays; there was a momentary restriction made by our suppliers for the parts needed for the Z51 package, which is only just getting sorted out so the part availability is expected to normalize shortly. Still, though, it may advised that you have your salesman check with the dealership's order fulfillment center in order to see if there is anything that can be done to speed things up further." 3/25
I did not want the car until March 15. I thought giving Chevy plenty of time (You have had the order since December and 10K down payment) would get me the order when I needed it. Most importantly I was quoted a price and wanted to be sure it was not affected by recent increases. I do not understand why I do not have the car, but I recently had a stroke and am just now feeling recovered. If my car was ordered in December and everyone on the forum gets their cars in 6 weeks, I am really wondering just what happened with mine? I envision my pre-order generosity being taken advantage of to move through other sales.

RMMWHN, VA I just do not see the date of order. I ordered the vehicle in Dec. with a 10$k down payment. I am not complaining about length of time cause I preferred to get it in March. I just got the tracking code this evening so I am concerned about the price increase as of March and making sure the order was placed timely and my guaranteed price does not change. I will be seeing the dealer tomorrow to verify I had a solid deal but am curious as to when the order was placed.
