Default side by side compare pics please

I am hearing many say the 3LT black interior is almost the same as the 2LT. Can someone please post high quality pics of both. Thank you

Pictures will not do it. You have to see the trim differences in person.

I completely changed my interior order after seeing cars in person.
I went from 2lt black to 3lt red, but others I am sure might do the opposite!

This is very hard to do right now. All the cars here have been flying off the lot if they weren't pre-sold, and the ones I've seen that were being stored to be delivered to customers are all loaded up 3LTs. The only cars that have really been sitting around here on the lots are the Laguna Blue Premier cars. I haven't been able to see anything other than a 3LT

My opinion is if you can afford it with no issue go with the 3LT, you will not have buyers remorse doing so like you would getting the 2LT.

Just my 2 Cents

It's not really about affording it to me. In my talks with a couple forum dealers even they said that with black interior 3LT is a waste as you "won't notice it at all".

Now, everyone is different and have different standards. So, I was hoping to see the differences to see how negligible it really is.

I'm leaning towards 3LT, just because.... but if it really is so small of a difference and the same price upgrade can get me a dual exposed carbon roof package (I know about the constraints), then why not go that route and get the roof package for "free" ?

I want the 3LT, leaning toward a 3LT Z51. I just sold my C6 yesterday and am about to place my order for a C7 soon, which is why I would like to see how the two compare.

Almost the same, but, not quite. Feels different to touch too. If you like black, then by all means go with 3LT black interior

Is that a 3LT with the suede upper option?

No, it has a better quality leather on the seats, dash and doors. This is why I'm curious in seeing both.

I looked at both the Kalahari in 2LT and 3LT. Even if it was the same price, I still personally prefer the 2LT way more than the 3LT.

The 3LT was just too much Kalahari (IMO), and I liked the contrast stitching and black dash in the 2LT. The nice thing is you have choices for what "you" personally prefer. That all that counts after all. Good luck.

2LT Kalahari

3LT Grey

3LT Brownstown

Thanks for the pics Bphilly. I agree the 2LT for me also is the nicer look. All the colors running up on the dash are just too busy. Also cracks me up who the designer was that thought the grey interior looked better with a grey carpet vs. a black carpet like all the other 3LT's (sans the brown). Figures - the one 3LT combo i like (grey) has that grey carpet which would kill it for me.

I guess what I really want to know, and see, is if you get a 3LT in all black, does it have contrasting stitching?

I'm also looking at black leather when ordering my Z51... What's the true quality difference between 2LT & 3LT leather? Is the higher priced 3LT leather less prone to normal wear? Dose it stay nicer? * What I have read so far is that the 3LT leather is simply softer. I'm no Buffalo Bill so I'm more concerned about durability& looks.

I just drove 70 miles each way to see the differences.

Unfortunately the 3LT was not black interior, it was red, so it wasn't a true side by side next to the 2LT in black.

My thoughts are that I will likely go 2LT + NAV if I go with black. The two tone red was a little too busy when sitting in the car and my wife really didn't like it at all. I fully inspected the black and it feels fine. The stitching stands out and it seems like the difference in materials are negligible with the black interior.

Believe me when I say I rubbed that car down so well that the sales guy was looking for a hose to turn on me.

The 2LT car also had the microfiber inserts in the seats and my wife really changed her mind on those, now it seems I have to tick that box on the order form.
