I think it varies. I ordered my Z51 from Rick Conti on 9/26. Went to 3400 on 10/26 and sat there until last Friday, where it went straight to 4150/4200 (never showed 3800) on 11/7 and arrived at the dealer today!

Definition of status code 3400
In delay/glitch free production 3400 would mean the build start should be imminent (within a few days). That said, the Stringray is not really in delay/glitch free production yet. As long as there are part shortages there can be pre-build holds at any time. I think this is why GM took the TPW off the systems dealers can access. The Museum has more access since they have to coordinate deliveries of R8C orders. If-and-only-if your car is R8C the Museum staff should be able to get a solid TPW from BG after the order reaches Code 3100.
