Just returned from three great days at the National Corvette Museum. The weather was perfect and the fellowship with other Veteran owners showed how Corvette owners are part of a family. Troops were brought in from Fort Campbell and we took them on road tours escorted by the Kentucky State Police. A big thanks to the troopers. Four stingrays were there, ours included, and we logged 850 miles without a hitch. The Bowling Green Veterans Day parade was Saturday and we were in it, guessing over 100 Vettes of all generations. We saw several Stingrays picked up each day by museum delivery, many first time Corvette owners. The museum and it's activities complete the Corvette ownership. I am biased, I have been a member nearly 20 years. If you get a chance, come to an event. Plan on coming to what will probably be the largest event ever, The National Corvette Caravan and 20th Anniversary Labor Day 2014. I almost forgot, this is the stingray board. I guess I should post a complaint about the car. We drove from home to the museum nonstop on less than a half a tank of fuel, 263 miles. I won't incriminate myself by posting average speed, we ran with traffic, but suffice to say it was not what you would consider Eco friendly. The gripe, no bathroom stop for my wife due to the crazy fuel efficiency...

Daggum fuel economy! I'll be at the 20th Anniversary Celebration...can't wait! And thanks to our Veterans for their service to us all!
I was there when you all pulled out of the museum on Friday morning. I was almost late to pick my new Vette up......but it was a rush watching all of those sweet Vettes pull out in one really long line.
I made it in with time to spare.
