Default Convertible cooling vents

I noticed that the cover for the vert top does not provide room for the cooling intake vents for the transmission. Are there other provisions for cooling or does GM expect that verts will not be driven as hard as coupes and will not need the extra cooling?

The convertible has ducts under the car to move air to the transmission and differential heat exchangers(radiators) that have fans just like the coupe's.

Cooling vent on converts is moved to the inside of the wheel wells. I would like to see some pix of this.
