I could have sworn I read on here somewhere that there is an iPhone APP for tracking your C7 order. (which works better than the Chevrolet.com tracker???)

You misread. For a while, Chevrolet's mobile website, m.chevrolet.com, worked on smart phones. It's now nonfunctional, just like the regular website.
FWIW, you can go to either the mobile or normal tracking website and select CHAT to talk to someone who can look up your status

it worked...
They were able to tell me "the order has been accepted by GM"
I asked for the specific status code but they "don't have access to that information"
I assume they only get the verbage from the code?
anyway.... thanks for letting me know about this option.

well I know that (thanks to this forum) but I was wanting the person to give me a number.... because I had a bad experience earlier in the day when my salesman said "your car is built" when I knew I was at 1100 on Wednesday. I explained how unlikely that is and after he checked out what was up... it was a case of the "telephone game" between him, another sales dude and the guy that orders.....
I now prefer to hear a status code vice having someone tell me what they think the code means.

yes you can, but it's slightly out of date.
For example, dave at kerbeck's update had me at 3400 (I know it's accurate) and I chatted with them i was at 3300. Two inaccurate updates in one week.
