Default Clear Bra

If you were getting a new C7 and wanted to install a clear Bra and also wanted to save a few bucks, what would you do first:
1) Bumper Kit
2) Hood Fender Mirror Kit
3) Rocker Panel Kit

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED - STILL WAITING ON C7 DELIVERY TO NCM.

I would do the bumper first, and then rockers, if money is an issue skip the hood and mirrors.

"where the rocks hit" is where you should do it first

the front up to hood seam, the sides back to door seam

about $750 for XPEL....

Sorry but if you're buying a new C7 and can't spring for a measly $1K for a proper clear bra, you're buying the wrong car

first do the rockers, up the front of rear fenders and bottom of doors definitely. Wish I had done it sooner. I have a bunch of damage in those areas with only 1800 miles.

For your info - since you sharp with the mouth = the car I can afford - just not sure I want to have the clear stuff all over - just asking for advice - if you can't handle that type question - maybe you need to be on another forum. sorry

I can only speak with experience with the install on my C6, so take from it what you will. My cousin (who's a LEO but used to install tint for a living) and I did it together. The hood turned out good, along with the side mirrors. The upper front fenders we did turned out pretty good. The bumper, not so great. Doing it inside the garage, we really needed to have everything on the floors cleaned really well which I apparently didn't. With such a big piece it's really easy to get something trapped underneath. Plus, with a dark color and not the best lighting, it was hard to see water bubbles so make sure you get them out. There's a real fine balance to getting it wet and setting it to tack. If I had to do it again, I would have paid pros to do the front bumper. The rest (I think) is doable by the average DIYer (on the c6). With the C7 the lines are sharper so I cannot speak to the difficulty but I suspect it will be similar. Best of luck whatever you decide to do.

I did a 1/4 bra....I had them do the nose of the car (right to where the nose meets the hood) along the creases. They wanted to do a 1/2 bra-I wouldn't let them put a line/crease down the middle of the hood.

I purchased the best most inclusive kit. With my luck, I would get stone chips in the area where I saved install cost.

I had the front bumper cover, headlights, rockers and quarters done. $650 in New Jersey.
