can anyone tell me how long constraints will be on the Z51 option, As I dealer ordered my car way back in July, Still no order at factory

No one knows except the people in charge. A lot of people are in the same situation as you are so hopefully it all gets figured out soon. We do not even know what parts exactly are holding this up.

My order for Z51 was picked up this week, so some are being made. My order was placed early September.

I placed my order for a Z51 on October 31 and my order went through last week.

Sounds like your dealer doesn't have an allocation. (but he/she may have one next week... good luck)

The story from my dealer is that it may be permanent, or at least until the Z51 order rate drops substantially. They don't want to flood the market with Z51's and the order rate is/was substantially over the 40% they wanted to see. Apparently, they're worried that they finally have the german and italian car guys interested in the corvette and if there is a flood of base models (expected) they will not want one since they buy as much on exclusivity as performance. By constraining the Z51 availability, they can create some exclusivity with that sub category at least. Or, so I heard...
