Default Stanced C7

A while back I bought a new c7 remote control car. It was the first c7 model of any kind (at the time) so I was excited and bought it. It was a New Bright model. Very cheap and slow just like the pic:

My kids had old beat up "tuner" models in the toy chest so I decided to do some work. I completely gutted and disassembled the corvette. Hardest part was choosing the paint color of the body. I love black, but after looking at all paint colors for the c7... I think white works best for it??
Anyways, I shortened the body mounts to give the car a lower stance from its 4x4 look. I painted the calipers red (from parts car)and the rest is done with a black sharpie. I used popsicle sticks for the sides and fabricated a front lip from the parts car. I didn't really have a choice on the wheels since these were what came with the tuner car also. I also cut out the front opening to add an intercooler and left the ends alone so it looks like running l.e.ds?? The car is still not complete. I plan on adding a rear diffuser and putting twin-tip exhaust to the edges of the bumper.
Just having fun and always had a passion for toy cars since I was young. Now on to the pics:

Yeah I did that on purpose.... I think that is the norm of most factory performance cars. I wanted something different. It was just something I personally thought looked better and a lot of oversea tuners along with some stateside tuners like Hennessey do a similar setup. Here was some inspirations to the set up:

This was something I did for fun and wasn't suppose to be real-life spec'd

Thanks for posting this. I need to get back into model cars as a form of stress relief, cheaper than the gun range and golf lol. Looks great!
