That's quite a few unsold ones considering what they have made so far. But if that number is accurate, then buyers should be able to get a car fairly quick depending on what options they want and what these unsold cars have on them.
Some of those are mistakes. On Autotrader, my C7 was listed at $58K. I rushed to the dealer and was told that the program that put their cars on the internet automatically discounts them. I got no discount, but neither did I pay a premium.

All the cars sold orders or stock get uploaded to Autotrader and the dealer website. There is a company that does it for GM. In the past sold cars never showed up on thoses sites.
Most of those cars are sold orders. 1,000 cars would mean each of the 900 stingray dealers have one car in stock. That if true isn't many.
