Who makes the eDif for GM? Is it Getrag, ZF, Eaton, Spicer?

I believe that Getrag still makes the differential but Nidec Corp makes the electronic/hydraulic unit used with the eLSD. It was designed by GM.

You imply you know the answer but can't include it in your posts? What's up with that?

From a better source than you do apparently. If I'm wrong on all three counts, prove it by telling us who does supply the differential assembly, the eLSD unit and who designed the eLSD?

How about this:
If you post things as fact, add references to support your claims.
If you can't, don't post.

Just so I'm clear....
Joe posts that x company builds this, y company builds that, and z company designed it.

YOU say he's wrong on all THREE counts and he should post references to support HIS claims....

So....Joe's wrong, according to you.

How about this then:
You don't know who built or designed it, you just know that Joe is wrong.

Got it.
I think.

I'll just let you guys enjoy incorrect information and walk away quietly...
(Should have left this one alone, my bad).

This is great...You really don't know either, do you?

Based on this, it looks like Joe WAS correct about the eDif....

Heaven forbid we have incorrect information. Why don't you supply the "correct" information then?

I didn't make a post saying I know the answer but I'm not telling, as you are doing.

And then....the sun set, the dew formed, and the crickets chirped....
And we all await the tablets from Mt. Sinai to appear and answer the OP.

Or not.

I do know, believe it or not.
The graphic posted on GM Authority doesn't confirm anything Joe posted...
Unless you guys can see something on there I can't.

All I was saying, is that posting information without any sort of proof is a practice that no-one benefits from. So, instead of posting rumors, post facts.
If you can't back your claims, don't make 'em. Simple as that.

Feel free to ride my *** if it makes you feel better...

Didn't you say this? Or, did somebody use your user name to make this post?

It sure looks like you were saying that you knew who the provider is. If you don't know why not just say so and stop acting like a bung hole.

I'm sure the OP wasn't looking for any drama just the correct answer. If joe was wrong, so be it. I would assume he didn't do it intentionally. If you think you have the correct answer, please share the wealth.

Bill
If he knows who the suppliers(assuming I am wrong) are then he should post them. I don't think he as a clue; he just saw my user name and jumped in trying to attack my credibility. If my information is incorrect, I want it corrected, and I'll admit that I was wrong. He can't prove that I'm wrong, so he's falling back on "I know the answer but I'm special and I'm not telling you dumbasses" as his response. He was doing nothing but trying to pick a fight with me.
