No tow hook?
I checked my trunk and noticed there was no tow hook under the carpet. My dealer said that they don't ship with one in north america.
Do tow trucks carry the correct hook if I need the car put on a flat bed?
(Yes, I looked in the manual and there is a picture of the tow hook.)

That's good info.
I've only had 2 of my cars towed in 28 years. And the mini and bmw that have a tow hook in the trunk were never towed. I figured I needed one.
Now I'm curious on how they get the car on the flatbed.
I'll have to watch the next time I see a tow truck flat bedding a car.

My CTS V had a tow hook and I at least knew where it was to be installed. I never had occasion to use it.
I will be looking around the owners guide to see what the deal is and also getting one to have in the car.

First make sure there is a place to screw the hook into. A previous thread about this concluded that there was nothing behind the small removable door on the rear of the C7 to mount a hook...only for Euro cars.
