Not a fan either, but I had paid to race, so I did. First time on rain tires. Was a blast really. I'm sure it wouldn't have been as much fun on regular tires.

I have 3 sports bikes.
One track 2010 bmw s1000rr
One road 2010 bmw s1000rr
And 2001 cbr 600 F4i for the track.
As much as I like taking cars on the track, I prefer riding bikes on the track.

Technically I should not be playing along as I don't even have a Corvette, but the reason I don't is because I was riding the bikes so much I decided at my age (now 61) it made more sense to invest that money for retirement. I put over 20,000 miles a year on the bikes….2013 BMW 1600 GT, 2012 Ducati Panigale, 2011 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 with full Akrapovik and PowerCommander….

I have a K6 Gsxr 1000 with 42k miles, I bought it brand new.
My 17 year old son has been nagging me about a ninja 300. but I don't think he's ready for a streetbike just yet.

fastline. isn't that a texas track org? I haven't rode with them. Mainly Longhorn, Ride Smart and Lone Star. We might know some of the same people? What color is your 05? mine is yellow just like my c7.
Great choice of bikes btw I think 05/06 were still better than 07/08
