My dealer told me today that ALL constraints have been lifted but he can not order my car yet ( coupe ) because all they can order is convertibles.
Is that normally how it works at most dealers??

It means he has no allocation.....he has sold more than chev will give him...do a search here for the ordering process.....

He might very well be top 10 in sales for Chevy - just not in Corvette sales, which is all that matters for 2014 Corvette allocation purposes.

Dealer my not have an allocation to order this time. In two weeks he might have a allocation for a coupe. Or it could be next month.
Ask him if he has more projected allocations.
I know my dealer went a couple rounds where he did not have an allocation to build what I wanted.
Tuesday he got an allocation for a Z51 coupe, and there were no constraints on the CF top, the CF dash so my order was placed.

This is great news! I'm at the top of the list for an order once the constraints were lifted and now I'm hoping my dealer has an allocation he can use on me!

I attempted to order today from a Tucson dealership and was told that separate constraints remain in place for the Z51 package and roof...

Still dont understand
I still don't get it. How can a dealer continue to receive vettes for his
lot, but have no allocations for my order ??

My dealer had an allocation come up and had to place a non Z51 order for his showroom floor because he was restrained from ordering a customers Z51 order. Hopefully in the next few weeks he will have the ability to order my Z51.
