Coupe VS Convertible Rear Visibility
My garage backs out into a busy urban street. Rear visibility is of great importance to me. When I was looking at the C7 coupes while visiting the Bowling Green museum last month, I found rear visibility to be horrible. Will the convertible be any better? I really like the wrap-around rear glass of my C6.

if you back out to a busy street, trying to back into the garage could cause a traffic jam, or worse. that said, I would still try to back into the garage.
I can't tell you which is better but I do know my C6 convertible w. the top up is not/does not provide good viewing at certain angles, such as 3/4 right rear (or even straight back).
so, here's a suggestion (seeing that you live in very temperate climate, Long Beach, home of the grand prix): get the C7 convertible and as you back out, put the top down so you can see. there'll only be a month or so when there is rain, right?

I knew going in visibility was a factor to consider but it was manageable with proper mirror adjustment and a couple of 'mental' adjustments. I have to compensate also by backing into my driveway and garage VS pulling in. Turns out after a few repeated times it's easy and easier pulling out that way.
