OK, this may be a dumb question, but at what temperature should the coolant be in normal driving? Mine is at 220. I assume since it is midpoint on the gauge, it is where it should be.
That's the normal for my analog gauge, also. But I think the digital pocket gauge reads differently. If I ever get to drive it again (snow everywhere) I'll double-check it.

Does anyone know what thermostat the LT1 has in it? Because with both my C5 and my C6 the coolant temperature would run at between 190-194 at a steady highway cruise (higher in stop and go traffic though), but both of them also came stock with cooler thermostats than other GM engines. But perhaps the LT1 is running a hotter one now?
