Default Door pull protction

Read somewhere that one of the CF vendors had a clear protection that went in the outside of the door handles to keep from getting scratched up. Does anyone remember what vendor

The trick is to reach around and touch the pad w just two fingers , not touching the pocket paint. It's a switch, not mechanical.

XPEL also has a pattern for this (it's called "door cups"); I got it installed on my C7.

I always open the door for ladies.

If it is a male passenger I open the door for them the first time and explain the proper way to do it without scratching the paint.

What bothers me a lot is going to a dealer service writer and having them put the paperwork on the hood for me to sign. Usually I stop it before it gets near the paint and tell them to put it on the window.

I have a big problem with people closing the door. Many people put their hand on the door to close it. I put 2 fingers on the glass where the glass meets the top edge of the door. If you place your hand too high on the glass you will make the window loose.
