I think the OP's avatar name should be changed from seymore38 to annoymore38.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's probably not a good idea to walk into a room full of wine lovers and tell them that wine sucks and coke is a better drink.
Not the best way to make friends.

How can any Vette be an eyesore? I'm lucky to have had a few now C7. I've driven eyesores in college I know eyesores lol
For those of us who may have forgotten this story from our childhood...
"The Fox and the Grapes" is one of the traditional Aesop's fables and can be held to illustrate the concept of cognitive dissonance. In this view, the premise of the fox that covets inaccessible grapes is taken to stand for a person who attempts to hold incompatible ideas simultaneously. In that case, the disdain the fox expresses for the grapes at the conclusion to the fable serves at least to diminish the dissonance even if the behaviour in fact remains irrational.[1] (stolen from wikipedia)

Reason: Added a reference to Aesop's fable for added clarity.
Wasn’t really excited with it when I saw the first pictures. The more I see of the car in the excellent photos owner’s post here and the few I’ve seen at dealer’s the more I like the car and the real thing definitely beats the pictures! I think GM stylists did an excellent job. Don
To be fair, I don't think the OP started this thread in the C7 section. He started it in the C6 section, where he figured he'd be in good company, and it unfortunately got moved here.
