Default Stupid Question

On my C6 I could easily check the tire pressure, engine oil life, and reset the trip odometer. I have sat in my new C7 with the Owner's Manuel on my lap and have scrolled through the "settings" screens, both using the dash icons, and, using the search button on the right of the steering wheel, but, for the life of me, can't locate the tire pressure screen, the engine oil life screen, or the trip odometer screen. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. And, before you say it Glen E, yes, I'm a total techno weenie.

Hey man I am with you we all need about a 2 hour class just on the dash

Right side of steering wheel with the 4 arrows, push the left arrow highlight info (top choice) hit select keep pushing the down arrow to scroll through the options- you will see trip, and oil life followed by tire pressures

There's so much information available, it takes a bit of getting used to. I found that just scrolling through things on my own, without the manual, was most informative. I then use the manual to see what specific settings can be made and how.

One key thing that BERETTA just pointed out it that whole left side menu. Lots of stuff there.

A tip that you might already know is to press and hold the start button without depressing the brake or clutch pedals will fully turn the car on and give you access to all the menus without having the engine running.

"techno weenies" are made "techno wizards" with the infortainment manual, the owner's manual and the sales manual. Read 'em twice. A few things are wrong, but overall, they get you there. Email me if you want them in PDF. glenersly@mac.com
