I was given a order number from my dealer on the 24 of December (RNGTRV) and would like to know what has been the average time it takes GM to pick up the Z51 builds.
it can go from 3 days to 6 months...it's depends on when the dealer gets a slot from chevrolet...right now you have nothing...
as I have said before - right now the dealer has taken an order (pkg) and set it on the porch and called UPS...it can sit there forever until the ups truck(chevrolet) picks it up...
go back and ask him how many allocations he has, how many orders and where you are in the grand scheme...
Unless you ordered from a large CORVETTE dealer (not just a large Chevrolet) dealer, you could be in for a long wait. The info Glen asked will give a good idea.
I have a contract with the dealer. I fully expect a car in March, maybe not the ordered car but close, a convertible with simular options. We will see.

IMHO, if you have a contract that allows for "not the ordered car but close" and your dealer can't even tell you if they have a Z51 allocation (which they SHOULD know), you can "fully expect" all you want.
