If yoiu need parking assist you don't deserve to drive a corvette.

Why? cars like Lambo or Ferrari already have Front and rear sensing system option so why not have this option for Vette?

That's what a Wife is for. Have her stand between the Wall and the Corvette. When she falls over, you're good.

Sorry, but that comment is really lame. I suppose you think the same about power steering, power brakes, and A/C, too.

Real men don't need all that power stuff. Don't need an electric starter either. The hand crank is good enough! And we like it!

I would probably choose it if it was an option.

I wouldn't complain if the car had it but I back in everywhere I go and the BU camera is good enough for me.

After 13 Corvettes, I've scraped a front splitter or two. Yes, I think it would be great. Heck, a blind spot monitor would help in traffic, too. Let's face it..........if it weren't for all of the electronic advances on the C7, it wouldn't be as great of a car as it is.

I'm sympathetic to the notion alluded to by this poster -- the electronic nannies lessen the fun of driving, which is what brings us to purchase a vette in the first place. Some cars in the luxury segment have automated steering, adaptive cruise control, etc. Every advance can be justified by the safety improvements. The road to fully robotic driving is paved with good intentions.

However, we lost the fight against automated systems in cars a long time ago. My first car had a manual choke, but not a manual idle adjustment. The C7 is a wonder of automation and electronic wizardry. I think we can count on the Corvette engineering team to continue adopting or pioneering electronic automation without much loss to the driving experience. I look forward to the day when every other car on the road is fully automated. I'll be out there in my C7 weaving around the sheep dozing while car drives them.

So, bring on the newest advances in automation. But keep the manual throttle and steering. Nothing else really matters, as long as I can jam on gas....

Sorry, but I would like to see parking assist from factory, not some ugly aftermarket plastic box curb alert mounted on my bumper Many cars already have it as standard.

Exactly what I want, I still want to park car myself but distance sensors (camera) in front and rear would help feel safer, and prevent potential scrapes or bumps to our cars.

yes, yes, yes!

I'd rather have a front camera and rear sound warning.

I would welcome the front and like others have suggested, a front camera to go along with the rear would be a plus.
