Clear Bra on removable top

Clear Bra on removable top

Anybody get a clear bra on the removable top? if so, will it damage the film when the top is secured in the hatchback?

I had Suntek put on three weeks ago, no film contacts the attachment points. Anything that would damage the film would be damaging the finish of the top without film applied.

I have it on the front third of my transparent top to avoid stone chips.

Waste of money... Opti coat or 22ple for $80 will get the job done

had 87,000 miles on the c6 with plastic top. never a mark. what are you worried about diarrhetic birds?

Actually, just such a bird bomb ate a tennis ball size portion of the clear coat off of the wife's Mini… some kind of purple voodoo berry. I waited the half hour to get home and wash it off, that's all it took.

2k for the exposed carbon top, well worth it IMO. My cf surfboards are strong but prone to impact chips.

Thanks, that plastic top is looking better all the time. We are really enjoying the removable top (last one was a C6Z), hopefully no gastronomically gorged gulls seize the opportunity.
