The solution was a set of squared off cones that had a velcro base -One could then move the cones around to surround whatever was in the cargo space so that it would not slide around. Can anyone out there help?
check macneil automotive. the guys that make weather tech mats. they have something that you might be able to use.

For the C7 Corvette Stingray. Are you tired of items sliding around the back of your Corvette with little usable or convenient storage space? If so, the Southern Car Parts VetteTray Cargo Organizer is for you.

The VetteTray is sturdy yet lightweight weighing in at less than 1 pound. Our registered design is constructed of 2 inch High-Density foam which is factory cut and wrapped in matching black or dark grey carpet for a perfect fit and finish. Keeping weight in mind, the Vette Tray is made from Extruded Polystyrene foam and wrapped in black carpet that is a close match to the C7 carpet. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, just send it back for a full refund.

- Each VetteTray comes standard with (2) Drink Holders and (2) 9 x 12in storage trays

Thanks guys! I'm already using this in the shop Stingray!
WOW1 Finally a useful accessory. I don't like crapping up the console with personal junk and this looks like a good answer to all the stuff flying around the cockpit in 1.04G maneuvers! (Well maybe .9G!)

Need a design that allows the cargo net to be installed, so hooks can't be covered. There is enough wasted space in the current design that if it were designed properly for the c7 there would be the same amount of storage and 100% functionality imo.

Not really a possible option, the space would only allow the tray to be about 4" deep....that wouldn't serve the purpose.

Ha, does, huh? (Not that there's anything wrong with that) Would love a more comprehensive way to secure stuff, think grocery runs, & similar. Just starting looking a couple days ago though.

Will this fit a 2017 Grand Sport correctly. Mine measures approx. 44" in the front and 42" on the back side. Your picture looks like it is rectangle.

Yes, the edges are angled down from 44 to 42. It will fit all C7s.

Maybe you could incorporate some lower shade tie down hooks into your tray to make up for the hooks your tray covers.

I don't know how many watch Corvettes 918 (I think it's called) on Youtube. He had a video over the last 2 days that mentioned SCP. Not very flattering, to say the least. I personally have no experience with them so have no opinion. He does have like 10 thousand subscribers, however, one would assume mostly Vette owners. Not the kind of publicity I would want. Just an FYI.

Looks too "long," front to back, for me.
