Does anyone know what the final production number will be for the 2014 Stingray? Is it sales that decide this or does the factory have a stop number in mind, or maybe just a stop production date?

GM of Corvette plant knows...no one here will tell ya if they did. I speculate May as from my searching around when a between model year starts up to build for the up coming late 3rd quarter / early 4th quarter delivers would be. I would also think that ~9 mos of production per year still holds true. New z06 and factory training and tooling would also factor in this but there are much more knowledgable figures on here that know much better.

Normally, production ends in late June. The first 2 weeks of July there is a 2 week vacation for most workers, and the line is re-configured for the next MY. 2015 production should begin mid-July. The last 2 years ('12,'13) were short to provide for the 6 month shut-down.
