I purchased a white c7 Friday. While driving it home the infotainment system and navigation pretty much freaked out. It kept flashing between navigation and a picture of a clock. It wouldn't let me stop the navigation directions. It didn't recognize my phone. We pulled over and turned the car off and this seemed to resolve the problem. It has since flashed the clock screen a couple times but only briefly. Any ideas about this? Anyone experience something similar? Otherwise, the car is awesome and despite how much I've praised the PDK on this forum, I think this car's paddle shift is more fun than the cayman. Thx!
Based on what I've read in other posts there may be an issue with the software that operates the systems. The dealer should be able to update the software if that's where the problem is. Do a search on this Forum and you'll find other posts dealing with this issue.
Congrats on your new Stingray.
I have the same problem. It's done that about 3 times already. I've had the car for exactly one month and just passed the 1k mile mark. I wonder for those that has had the reflash, did it solve the problem?

Is this the problem that was fixed by tightening the battery cables?

Not specifically. That solution was mentioned particularly for the E-Diff, service rear differential message although a loose battery connection can cause all kinds of weird intermittent issues.
