Break in?

Break in?
I found a thread regarding vehicle break in, but it was closed. so let me apologize in advance for opening another can of worms. I've gotten to 167 and only have 70 miles on vehicle. I have only hard accelerated a few times. my question is:
is it too late to sort of "restart" break in process and drive the remaining 400 or so miles "correctly"?

Also, i didn't hold it at that speed, simply raced there and slowed gradually. probably 15 seconds start till back to 70mph.
But Holy Moly, this is nothing like my C6...it's like the space shuttle. when I get in and the motor shakes the car upon starting. i take a deep breath of that beautiful new car smell and a huge smile crosses my face!!! Life is good!!
