As an example I posted pics of half the stitching done blue and the other half white. Looked really good and wish I had done it that way. Do an inconspicuous spot with one side blue and the other yellow. I think it would look sweet on the seats. The rest of the stitching is single rows so wouls have to decide what tondo but the seats with two tone stitching looked good. Should have my pics about the 2nd or 3rd page I guess.

[QUOTE=jagamajajaran;1585957396]As I have been personalizing my C7, I've simply posted most of my mods in my mod thread. But for the money and resulting impact, I felt this one was worthy of a thread of its own.
I wanted my interior stitching to match the car, so I bought a "Stained by Sharpie" Fabric Marker and went to work on the stitching. Of course, I used yellow, but there are a variety of colors available: http://www.sharpie.com/enus/pages/st...y-sharpie.aspx
It took about two hours to transform the stitching. The process involved staining a 4-6 inch section then wiping the excess off the leather with a dry rag. There were no issues at all and it really looks great (the pics really don't do it justice).
Here are the pics (the first pic is of the passenger seat BEFORE being stained).
there's sliced bread and then there's THIS guy!!! i've been trying to decide on what to do about my interior. You've just made my day!!!!! when I first sat in my car adn saw the dash for the first time I was so mad that they did not make this an option, especially since it's EVERYWHERE!!!
in case you're wondering why i'm so psyched, take a look at my c6 mods. not sure how. i guess you can do a search with my avatar name. one thread I think is named "take a look at my seats" or something.
Wife's hummer is going have to just run a bit longer with malfunctioning thermostat, I have a dying job to do...

Thanks! Can't wait to see how you like it! And I can't find your mods thread, so post a link if you can. Thanks!

I've commented on your car once already but have to say again....never thought I would want yellow but your car and the mods you have made, have stopped my wanting red one day and black the next day and white the day after that. Beautiful! Even love the chrome wheels with the yellow. Great job, you.
