Default Which wheel is this?

Is this a picture of the Machined-faced aluminum wheel or the base Silver-painted aluminum wheel?

I ask because the window sticker says it's the machined faced wheel, but the Corvette brochure shows this as the silver-painted wheel.

Does someone have a picture of the other wheel not shown?

Andrew or anyone else with the base wheel, would it be possible to get a picture of your wheel? The few vehicles the dealers have around me on their floor models always have upgraded wheels. Thanks

This was a base silver wheel - had to tell the difference at first glance.

Thanks for the pictures guys. Sure not much difference for $1500!

Andrew, what do you see in the machined wheel that looks better than the base wheel?

That machined wheel sure does not look like the one they show in the brochure. I would have really felt ripped-off if I ordered the machined wheels thinking I was going to get what they show in the brochure, a wheel that looks machined and not painted like the base wheel.

yours seem to have a more metallic look to them while mine are just a painted grey look. They really should of offered a black painted wheel at no extra charge imo.

The Vette machined wheel is a farce...because they did not do what machined wheels are designed for: the face is polished and in between is blacked or greyed out to make the spoke pop. They forgot that, so you have a wheel that looks like the painted one from 15 feet away. This is a true machined wheel:

Bmbarny's base wheel picture in post #6 looks like it has just as much metallic to me. Even if the machined wheel were tintcoated, it sure not worth an extra $1500. I like your idea about black 5 spoke wheels.
