Placing a new order
I have my C7 and love it. I have a close friend that wants to order one and a dealer tells him they have an allocation. If he orders any thoughts on how long before he can expect delivery any what are current constraints if any?

"Have an allocation". Famous (and infamous) words from a dealer. Has an allocation for the current consensus cycle, or has an allocation for "sometime" in the future?

I visited Kerbeck last Friday. Apparently, they have allocations out the wazoo and a Corvette with the painted top can be had rather quickly. Being the largest Corvette dealer has its perks.

They have 30+ allocations per week, every week - if they or MacMulkin (25+ allocations per week) can't get you what you want (and quickly), it likely can't be had.
