It takes about 3 days to build one from start to finish but I don't know how much of that time is actually on the line.

Thanks, for the response fellas. My C7 started today and was trying to estimate how long it would take to get to me.

How do you know it started today? If you have a TPW of 1/20/14 that just means that it is scheduled to start sometime this week.

My dealer sales manager called Saturday and told me the target date to build was monday 1/20/2014. Isn't that a build date?

Target build
dates are not issued. The best you will get is a targeted build
week (TPW) which is probably what your dealer meant. Even that, however, is very much subject to change.

My TPW was 1/13 and I still have not been built. According to the NCM (doing Museum delivery), I'm scheduled to roll off the line on 1/22.

A Target Production Week is always identified by the date of the first day - Monday. Production could start any day of that week.

Is it true the production line is like 2.5 miles. I think I heard that on the tour but can't remember for sure. Anybody?
