Much thinner and doesn't hold up as well as clear paint protective film (no self healing like some protective films). And when it gets damaged the paint color underneath shows thru. But, much cheaper/easier to fix.

I like it. One thing to consider is applying a paint protection film on top of it as vinyl gets swirl marks and scratches VERY easily. Once it gets a swirl it is there for good. A self healing paint protection film such as Suntek or Xpel Ultimate will finish it off nicely and it will look as new as the day it was installed for as long as its on there.
