The car seems much bigger than I expected it would be. We got painted silver wheels as the plan is to mount HRE's. The silver wheels aren't that bad. I kind of like the look. Not enough to cancel the P40SC's, but I could live with them comfortably. Plus you can't beat the price. I think we are glad we didn't get the Z51 spoiler on our base suspension car. The rear is pretty clean. We like the carbon fiber dash. All the negative comments about the chrome bar on the grill. I preordered a can of Smoke Plasti Dip. Then decided to use 3M Dinoc Faux Carbon Fiber Vinyl. Now have both in the garage. Could be our car is silver, I'm warming up to the chrome bar. Do overs. I'd wait for aftermarket exhaust and ditch NPP. Its OK, but we will never not use Sport mode which is the only way to get louder. Corsa or Boat full time would suit my ear better.
Good stuff...keep musing.....I agree the chrome strip can pass with a silver car...
Having examined the grill, I discovered it cants rearward slightly and the chrome strip actually sets it off. Pictures again don't do this design feature justice. I originally thought the grill was flat.

Just some musings after a few miles of smiles.
Really important in this case, as I really like the Blade Silver on this car....

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Regarding NPP, you can go into the settings menu in the infotainment system and set the exhaust to "OFF" and they will be open all them time regardless of mode. As I understand it, when the car goes in and out of 4 cylinder mode, the sound will however change noticeably. That would be the only down side.

We are installing a Caravaggio D steering wheel next Monday. Two tone red/black, it is an incredible piece. Our HRE P40SC's are estimated at two weeks out. Brushed tinted clear. When we've got the major mods installed I'll post some pictures.
Blade Silver/Adrenaline Red/Black makes an awesome convertible.

The C7 is wider and longer than the base C6, but a hair lower.
Can't wait to see the pics with the HREs. Those wheels are sick! Just wished someone would figure out how to put wider wheels in the back to get a more concave or lip look.

Not WITHOUT sticking out....that's the problem, the body is not wide enuf for the concave look......

low slung sports cars always look smaller in pictures than in person.
Also, wrap-around dashes (like the C7 - and the 2nd gen C4) also look small in pictures. When a kind person allowed me to sit in his C7 last October... I too was surprised at the interior's roominess.
The main thing that makes it feel tight inside is the seat choice. The sport/competition seats have higher side bolsters - and can make you feel cramped. Road-course and autocrossers are accustomed to that tightness of the seat; it's preferred to them. That's why I always caution someone contemplating ordering a sports car (who doesn't race) to be careful and not automatically order "sport" or "competition" seats solely because it sounds cool. Best bet is to sit in - and experience - all available seating before making a choice.
