I have owned 3 C-6s and everyone of them have had their share of interior rattles and noises. How are the C-7s as far as fit an finish interior wise, specifically rattles a creaks? Little noises make me crazy

3,000 miles and no rattle noise. The front tire noise is much lower that my C6. The rear tire noise is slightly lower.

I have a C6 vert and I'm constantly amazed at the lack of rattles & squeaks in mine. It's the only convertible I've ever owned and always heard they can have or develop a lot of rattles. Mine's an 09 and pretty quiet. About the only time I hear anything is maybe once in a while on a cold morning when I'm starting out but after a couple blocks it's as quiet in terms of rattles and squeaks as any car I've ever owned. I would think the C7 would be at least as quiet.

That" wall to wall carpeting" in the wheel well helps a lot.

No rattles, squeaks, etc in my C6 Z06 and it has the stiffest suspension of the entire lineup of C6's. Other than tire noise, all I hear is a screaming engine when I go WOT.

Now, the owners of C6 targa tops are complaining about noises from the top's latches. After nine years, I would hope that GM has corrected that annoying problem.

The main noises I had were speaker covers rattling, various plastic interior creaking and a few other random noises from the cargo area.

Very tight in 4500 miles......nothing here and I've has most of my interior panels loose. Harnesses are supported better than many other cars I've dismantled......

2010 ZR1 here and NO rattles or squeaks at all actually I'm very pleased with the ride and handling of this car...personally I can't see the C7 being any better in that area but then again I never drove a C7.

My c6 rattled here and there, but C7 feels tight like a exotic

I would imagine the better quality of materials in the C7 make for less squeaks/rattles/noises.

I had no rattles in my 09 Z06 and my C7 has no rattles either.. I will say after removing the dash in the C7, the designers made a serious effort to fasten things down such that they can't rattle. At least in the dash. That dash is put together with so many screws and fasteners that there is no way in hell it will ever rattle. I was absolutely astonished with how that thing goes together. If the rest of the cars panels are fastened similarly, I would venture to say GM went way out of their way to insure this car won't rattle ever. The C6 dash was a cake walk in comparison and everything for the most part just snapped together in that car. The C7 on the other hand is nothing like it. At least as far as I have dug in at this point. I'd say you have nothing to worry about when it comes to rattles in the C7. It's built like a brick s*** house!

Something strange here. I never had a rattle in either my C6 or my C7..maybe it is just me!
