Does your dealer have an allocation?

What code are you currently at? 2000?

Didn't you post good bye Chevy and said you gave up and bought a Nissan GT R??? Are bored with the GT R already-usually takes people a couple of weeks before they get bored.

"No answers from my dealer". That should be all you need to know. Your dealer does not have an allocation. Z51's are only about 50% of allocations, some other options (like C2Z and FAY) are even further constrained. If your dealer is a low volume Corvette dealer, it may be a long time before he gets a Z51 allocation, even longer for other options that are constrained. Are there any others in front of you at the dealer? What other options did you order?

Good catch. Indeed he did:

Just bought a GT-R 1 hr. ago from local dealer. Premium package.White with black mirrors and spoiler.Same as the c-7z51 that I never would have got. Picking up Wednsday and stopping by my ex chevy dealer and show it off. Too bad chevy is dissapointing so many. Plus it costs me 30,000 more but it is worth it!
pcara, you need to be straight up with us or it will not go well for you.

I would like to apologize to all for the last bunch of threads regarding Gtrs and whatever else was said. These were not by me but a friend of mine who obviously loves Nissan. He has had every sport model they have made. Me myself am going to chevy for the first time from being a ford mustang guy. He thought he was funny but I did not. Sorry again but I have not followed this forum so I did not know he was pranking. He was the one to convince me to join. Now I know why. I will not post anything else because I am responsible for what is written under my name. Sorry again. Cant wait to get my Vette and I will post pictures when I get it.

You're kidding right

So your 'friend' hi-jacked your account and posted all of that stuff...interesting.

Personally I'm calling BS, besides the obvious, your writing style (that of a 12 year old) is just like your friends.

Anyway--officially added to my ignore list.

Ba bye...

Yes, he bores easily. He'll get tired of the Vette too if he even gets it.

According to the tracking site, you're at Order Placed (which is 1100).

You need to talk to your dealer (Chevrolet 112 right?) about allocations as until it hits 2000 having an order number means little. Given they have no Stingrays in their inventory, likelihood is they are a lower volume dealer with fewer allocations and you could be in for a wait.

2050 Order Changed

3100 Order Available to be Sequenced
3300 Order Scheduled for Production
3400 Order Broadcast (Internal Plant Order Produced)
3800 Vehicle Produced
4000 Vehicle Available to Ship
4104 Bailment Invoice Created
4B00 Bayed

Hey! You're gone! You bought a new GTR remember? Can't you find the car in the garage? What happened: did they not give you keys?

What? Your boyfriend stole your password, too? And posted for you? hahaha

So you post this today:

"My salesman just informed me that I should see car around May. Im fine with that. Infact I just told him to add magnetic ride control. I have no reason to doubt him. Hes been awesome so far."

Don't you recall this post: "I understand that it is the dealers who are misinforming us but they are "Chevies Dealers" and they should be removed as one of their vendors." on 2/15?

That was in your thread, "Maybe next time." same date.

Now you love your salesman?

Your dealer is blowing smoke up your *** again.
For you to see a car in early May, it would be accepted (status 2000) in or around the 3rd week of March, meaning 4 weeks from now.
Have him show you his allocation and order list - if he is being honest, he will have at least 6 allocation between now and then and no more than 2 other Z51 order to be filled - if he has less allocations or more orders for Z51's, you are being lied to as it is unlikely he will get more than 50% Z51's (and that assumes you don't have C2Z or FAY on your order).
